Summer is here, As much as we want to flaunt all our spaghetties and sleeveless clothes, dark underarms can be a bit worry. With these kitchen remedies you can lighten the dark underarms.
Causes :
This is no brainer. Darkness is caused due to shaving, hair removal creams, tight clothing, deodorants. It also is caused to hormonal imbalance, diabetes.
Methods:
Lemon Juice : Where there is tan, there is Lemon. Lemons are known to get rid of the tan, dark spots. It also helps lightening the dark underarms. Apply the juice and leave it on and wash it off after 20 -25 minutes. You can even leave that on as it acts like natural deodorant.
Cucumber Juice : Dip the cotton Pad/ball and apply it on underarms. Leave it on till it dries and wash off with cold water.
Potato Juice : Make a juice out of potatoes and apply them with cotton ball. Leave it on to dry for atleast 15 – 20 minutes and wash it off with cold water.
Baking Soda : Make a paste by adding little water and baking soda. And apply evenly on the area. Leave it on till dries. Wash it off while gently scrubbing.
Multani mitti / Fuller’s earth : Make a paste of Multani mitti / Fuller’s earth and water. And apply like a pack on the underarm area. Wash it off when it is softly dried. You can even add few drops of lemon juice in the mixture.
Meanwhile Switch to waxing or get laser hair removal done. Be consistent with these remedies. As they are natural methods they take some time to show the desired results. A little bit of darkness is quite common, don’t let his stop you from flaunting all your bright summery clothes.
